Security Policy

PegasusLink is built with a security-focused architecture for messaging and calling. This page gives a high-level view of the operational and application controls used to protect the platform, communications, user access, and production services.

Effective date: March 8, 2026
Applies to PegasusLink Android app and service

Core Controls

Transport and access

  • Protected transport for production endpoints using HTTPS and WSS where applicable
  • Account and session protection through authenticated access and controlled session state

Local and service security

  • Secure handling of sensitive local data through protected storage mechanisms where available
  • Operational safeguards for service integrity, stability monitoring, and abuse mitigation

Application Security Direction

Communication protection

  • Communication-oriented hardening for messaging, calling, and attachment workflows
  • Controlled handling of camera, microphone, and media permissions

Reliability-aware security

  • Adaptive network logic designed to preserve safer communication behavior during unstable links
  • Release-build configuration intended for production deployment and policy compliance

Incident Handling

Response model

Security-relevant issues are reviewed according to severity, impact, and operational urgency. The service may apply remediation, access restrictions, or infrastructure changes where needed to protect users and production systems.

Operational priority When a security issue affects production safety or platform integrity, remediation and containment take priority over non-critical feature work.
