Account Deletion
This page explains how PegasusLink users can request deletion of their account and associated data. It is provided for the PegasusLink Android application and PegasusLink service so users and store reviewers can clearly see the deletion path, deleted data types, retained data categories, and retention rules.
How to Request Deletion
Request steps
- Open PegasusLink and go to Settings > Account Deletion, or use the email link on this page.
- Send a deletion request to privacy@pegasuslink.com.
- Include your PegasusLink username and any optional phone number associated with the account.
- PegasusLink may request additional verification before processing the deletion request.
Data Deleted After a Verified Request
Deleted categories
- Account profile and authentication records associated with the PegasusLink account
- Stored message history and call history associated with the account in active service systems
- Uploaded attachments such as photos, videos, and documents associated with the account
- AI-generated summaries and analysis outputs associated with the account, where applicable
Data That May Be Retained
Retained categories
- Security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, and audit records
- Operational logs needed to investigate incidents or protect service integrity
- Data that must be retained to comply with legal obligations, dispute handling, or law-enforcement requests
Retention Period
Processing and retention timing
PegasusLink aims to process verified account deletion requests within a reasonable period. Limited security and audit records may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion, or longer where required by law or legitimate security obligations.
Partial Data Deletion
Current scope
PegasusLink does not currently provide a separate automated flow to delete only part of account data while keeping the account active. Users can request full account deletion through the process described above.
